Athletic Booster Club Meeting: Wednesday, 11/1 at 6:30pm in the HS Commons.

CRBC Signups for 3rd-8th grade will be on 10/22-11/5 from 1-4pm, as well as on 11/15 from 6-8pm. The signups will be held at Stagecoach Park in Polo.

Letterman Jackets: Cindy with Pat's Army Store out of Lexington, MO will be here Parent/Teacher Conference night 10/26 from 2pm-7pm. She will be set up at a table outside the HS Office to answer any questions, do measurements, and take orders. They have generously offered 20% of profit back to the school if they receive 5 or more orders while at the school! Pricing sheet/info is available in the HS Office or call 660-259-3462.

Wrestling Fundraiser: Get your wrestling gear now! Order flyers are available in the HS Office. Orders need to be placed online at https://nillbros.itemorder.com and enter sale code: PHSWR17. Order deadline is Sunday, 11/5. See Coach Erdman with any questions.

Track update: The inside of the track is landscaped and seeded. The rubberized surface is down on the track. Application of the first & second coat of structural spray have been planned for the week of 10/16-10/20. This will have to set for one week before painting. Painting and striping will take about 1 1/2 days.  We are getting very close to completion of the first steps in the track project! Show your support for the kids and community by purchasing a brick for $100 with up to 20 characters per line and 3 lines available or larger sponsorships are still available and you or your company will be recognized on a sign as you enter the track facility. Track Brick Forms or Sponsor letters are available in the High School and Central Offices. Thank you for your continued support!

Announcements:
Nurse's Note: REMINDER TO BE PROACTIVE WITH DILIGENT HAND HYGIENE! Recently we are having a few cases of a stomach virus beginning to circulate in the school. The best way to help prevent you from catching the latest "bug" is to practice thorough hand washing!

POP MACHINES: The Pop Machines DO NOT TAKE PENNIES! Someone had jammed up the Glass Front Pop Machine by trying to use pennies to purchase, therefore, it could not dispense change anymore and has caused a headache for the HS Office and Coca-Cola.

**STUCO meeting for Wednesday, 11/1 has been moved to Thursday, 11/2.

FCA: Let's keep each other accountable! After you've completed your daily reading assignment, initial the paper outside Mrs. Snodgrass's door. If you get behind, just catch up! Adult participation is welcome!

Parents/Guardians: Due to the end of 1st Qtr on Friday, 10/20, all lunch accounts will need to be at -0- or above by Tuesday, 10/24. Report cards can be withheld if accounts are not in good standing. Please be checking your balances and making arrangements to have your account up to date.

There will be an FBLA meeting Tuesday, 10/24 during 8th hour.

Volunteers needed!!!! PWCO Halloween Carnival is on Saturday, 10/28 from 6-9pm. If you are interested in volunteering to help, please sign up at the Counseling and Career Center.

Thursday, 10/26: The Multi Purpose room will be closed down at 12:00 so tables can be set up for Elementary Parent-Teacher Conferences.

PWCO 14th Annual Halloween Carnival - Saturday, 10/28, 5-8pm at the Polo Community Building in Stage Coach Park.

SENIORS: Magazine Sales online orders continue through November 1st.

MS Fall Dance will be on Monday, 11/13 from 7-9pm in the MP room. Cost is $5 per person. This dance is for Polo Students in grades 6th-8th.

The local American Legion is hosting a Speech contest for any student Grades 9-12. If you are interested please see Mrs. Walker for more details. You could have a chance to win a $2000 scholarship!

Any Junior boys interested in attending Boys State in June please see Mrs. Walker.
