Sports & Activities News:
There will be NO December Athletic Booster Club meeting. The next meeting will be on the 2nd Wednesday, in January which is January 9th.

FFA Fruit will be here on Tuesday, 12/11 for pick-up after school until 4:30pm. Call Mr. Farmer to make other pick-up arrangements.

FBLA once again has Country Meats Snack Sticks available for sale for $1 per stick. Please see a FBLA member or Mr. Endicott to get yours! These will make great stocking stuffers!

Tuesday, 12/11: V/JV BB vs Milan - 5:00pm (Starting with 2 Qtrs JV girls then boys. Think Local Theme - Hawaiian Hoop-Fest, Band will also have Soup/Chili supper and auction & FCA is having a hygiene product drive for Bright Futures - if you bring an item Think Local will put your name in a drawing)

Announcements:
Polo R-VII Can Food and Blanket Drive (Monday, 12/10-Friday, 12/14): 7th-12th grade students are encouraged to donate by bringing canned food &/or blankets to Mr. Dickson's room. The 8th hour class that earns the most points will win a prize. Cans are scored as 1 point and blankets are 5. The Elementary class that donates the most will get a reward on the 21st. All items will be donated to our local food pantry.

Congratulations to Mr. Green  who was selected as the November Teacher of the Month!

School Health Advisory Council Meeting (SHAC): 1st semester meeting on Wednesday, 12/12 in Polo R-VII Library at 3:30pm. All members of the School Health Advisory Council are invited. Parents and other community members are welcome, and encouraged to participate. SHAC is a diverse group of individuals who represent the council from a multidisciplinary background, and participation in SHAC is encouraged by Polo community members. The meetings benefit the school by having a review of current health care programs and policies, while providing the opportunity to work with the school to develop, implement, monitor, and revise as necessary our School Wellness Plan.

BREAKFAST announcement: Reminder - unless special arrangements have been made with Administration, NO ONE will be allowed to get breakfast after the 8:20am start of class bell.

PLEASE BE CHECKING AND KEEPING ON TOP OF MEAL ACCOUNT BALANCES. THIS INCLUDES ALL STAFF MEMBERS AS WELL. THE END OF THE FIRST SEMESTER IS OUR LAST DAY BEFORE CHRISTMAS BREAK. ALL OUTSTANDING BALANCES ARE TO BE TAKEN CARE OF AND ENDING BALANCES ARE TO BE -0- OR ABOVE AFTER LUNCH ON THE 21ST.

Polo R-VII School District offers several resources to help all families, not just those who qualify for free and reduced lunch services. Polo R-VII School teams up with Think Local to offer holiday assistance to families throughout the district for children ages birth- 12th grade. Counseling and Career Center:
Spring Semester 2019 Dual Credit Enrollment is now OPEN for Missouri valley College. Please download forms from the Counseling website or from Mrs. Walker. Registration is Due before you leave for Christmas Break. The sooner the better.
