From the Career Center:
Seniors: Deadlines for many scholarships are quickly approaching! Make sure that you are applying for them! You can use scholarship money to pay for books and other necessities even if your tuition is already covered. Also, many of the scholarships, especially the local ones will cover expenses for technical schools/training as well as two-year and four-year colleges. I just posted the local MFA Services Scholarship Opportunity and the Lloyd R Wallace Scholarships. These have both always been awarded in our school so don't miss out! https://sites.google.com/a/polo.k12.mo.us/counseling-and-career/home/scholarships If you need any assistance with filling applications out please stop by the Counseling Center. ALSO - If you still need help filling out college applications or the FAFSA please let Mrs. Walker know. If you have an internship programs or building trades area you are interested in we have information in the Counseling Center. If you have applied and been accepted to college and have not made housing arrangements yet it may be time! Stop by anytime if you need anything or just have questions about what to do next!
